Education & Qualifications Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in security management/security risk management. Security and Safety certification.
  • Have a university degree in political science / social sciences and international relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in security and safety certification.

Work Experiences:

  • Experience in having established networks with the Host Government or other security actors from previous employment.
  • Work Experience supports the Representative or Head of Office in managing staff safety and security of the Organization.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure to achieve multiple deadlines.
  • Full-Knowledge of understanding of NGO missions and goals.
  • Knowledge of public relations.

Languages:

  • Fluency in the English language is Required (both oral and written).

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Responsible for advising and supporting the Representative or Head of Office in managing staff safety and security of UNHCR.
  • Evaluating existing security measures to determine their appropriateness and identify areas needing improvement.
  • Responsible for advising on and assisting in ensuring compliance with standards established through the Security Risk Management process.
  • Responsible for assisting and developing plans for evacuation/relocation medical evacuation and other security contingencies.
