About the Opportunity:
This part-time (19 hours/week) internship will provide you with valuable experience in the field of storm water management. You’ll work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about protecting Mecklenburg County’s streams and lakes.
What You’ll Do:
- Support volunteer programs: Assist with volunteer recruitment, management, and supply/equipment coordination.
- Develop educational materials: Create engaging virtual content for schools and community events.
- Deliver public presentations: Speak at schools, businesses, and special events to raise awareness about water quality.
