Mecklenburg County’s Land Use and Environmental Service Agency (LUESA) is seeking a motivated intern to join our Storm Water Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while making a real impact on your community.

About the Opportunity:

This part-time (19 hours/week) internship will provide you with valuable experience in the field of storm water management. You’ll work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about protecting Mecklenburg County’s streams and lakes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support volunteer programs: Assist with volunteer recruitment, management, and supply/equipment coordination.
  • Develop educational materials: Create engaging virtual content for schools and community events.
