Transportation Design Intern

In this role, you will work alongside experienced professionals on transportation planning and design projects, contributing your fresh ideas and creative thinking.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in civil/environmental/construction engineering, construction management, civil technology, land surveying, or a relevant field at a four-year or two-year technical school, college, or university.
• Strong understanding of transportation design principles and concepts
• Excellent proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Time management skills and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development of transportation design plans, including graphics, presentations, and models
• Conduct research and data analysis to support project development
• Participate in site visits and meetings
• Contribute to the creation of clear and concise design documentation
• Stay up-to-date on current trends and innovations in transportation design
