Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in civil/environmental/construction engineering, construction management, civil technology, land surveying, or a relevant field at a four-year or two-year technical school, college, or university.
- Strong understanding of transportation design principles and concepts
- Excellent proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management skills and a strong work ethic
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of transportation design plans, including graphics, presentations, and models
- Conduct research and data analysis to support project development
- Participate in site visits and meetings
- Contribute to the creation of clear and concise design documentation
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and innovations in transportation design
