Strategic Sourcing Internship

Brink’s Incorporated offers a Strategic Sourcing Internship program for students seeking to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of supply chain management. You’ll work alongside the Global Strategic Sourcing team, assisting with tasks that optimize procurement processes, analyze data, and navigate any challenges related to securing goods and services for Brink’s operations.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost-efficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP) is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assist with developing and implementing sourcing strategies for various materials and services required by Brink’s
• Analyze supplier data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, managing communication with vendors
• Support contract negotiations with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions
• Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Assist with research and analysis of new technologies and sourcing solutions
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
