Volunteer Requirements:

  • Ability to converse in Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin, or both preferred).
  • Positive, caring, and patient personality.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Commitment of at least 6 months for 1-1.5 hours per month (flexible options may be available).

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Visit clients regularly according to agreed schedule.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy.
  • Participate in CCCIS volunteer training on various topics (e.g., communication skills, chronic illness, cultural sensitivity).
