Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, public relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (sophomores or juniors preferred)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair
  • A keen eye for design and a passion for visual storytelling (a plus)
  • Experience with social media analytics tools is a plus
  • Avid Minnesota Twins fan (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging social media content (posts, stories, etc.) to generate excitement for Twins games and ballpark events
  • Manage Target Field’s social media platforms and interact with fans online
  • Assist with developing and implementing social media marketing campaigns
  • Track and analyze social media engagement metrics and reporting
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging across platforms (may vary by internship)
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices
