Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, public relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (sophomores or juniors preferred)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair
- A keen eye for design and a passion for visual storytelling (a plus)
- Experience with social media analytics tools is a plus
- Avid Minnesota Twins fan (a plus)
Responsibilities
- Create engaging social media content (posts, stories, etc.) to generate excitement for Twins games and ballpark events
- Manage Target Field’s social media platforms and interact with fans online
- Assist with developing and implementing social media marketing campaigns
- Track and analyze social media engagement metrics and reporting
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging across platforms (may vary by internship)
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices
