Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Communications, Marketing, Web Design, or a related field (sophomores or juniors preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
  • A working knowledge of content management systems (CMS) is a plus
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus
  • Interest in art, history, and/or gardens (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating engaging social media content (posts, stories, etc.)
  • Contribute to the development and management of Hillwood’s website content
  • Research and write online content about the museum’s collections, exhibitions, and gardens
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns (may vary by internship)
  • Help with digital analytics and reporting (may vary by internship)
  • Stay up-to-date on digital marketing trends and best practices
