Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a major in biology or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in biological sciences with a keen interest in botany and plant physiology.
  • Excellent laboratory skills and experience with aseptic techniques (preferred).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate research records.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the research team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist researchers in studies related to lavender and native bee interactions.
  • Participate in research on aromatic plant species, including cultivation, identification, harvest, extraction methods, and analysis.
  • Gain experience with plant taxonomy and herbarium practices.
  • Contribute to data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
