Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a major in biology or a related field.
- Strong foundation in biological sciences with a keen interest in botany and plant physiology.
- Excellent laboratory skills and experience with aseptic techniques (preferred).
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate research records.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the research team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist researchers in studies related to lavender and native bee interactions.
- Participate in research on aromatic plant species, including cultivation, identification, harvest, extraction methods, and analysis.
- Gain experience with plant taxonomy and herbarium practices.
- Contribute to data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Help maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.
