Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior in a college program (ideally Mechanical Engineering)
  • Eager to learn about quality control in the steel fabrication industry
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Basic understanding of mechanical drawings (a plus)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with inspections of steel components during various fabrication stages
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures
  • Help prepare and review repair documentation
  • Interact with owners and engineering teams to ensure adherence to project specifications
  • Assist with maintaining quality control documentation
