We’re looking for a passionate communicator to join our team!

Do you have a knack for transforming complex topics into engaging media content? Are you an expert in public health and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals? If so, we want to hear from you!

Here’s what we’re looking for:

Education:

  • A university degree in one of the following:
    • Communication and Journalism
    • Political Science/Social Sciences and International Relations
    • Public Health

Experience:

  • Proven ability to create compelling media materials (written, visual, and audio) in both Arabic and English
  • Experience developing and implementing communication strategies, media products, and outreach plans
  • Strong conceptual thinking and consensus-building skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the UN Sustainable Development Goals
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
  • Understanding of NGO missions and goals
  • Solid understanding of public health issues

Languages:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
  • Knowledge of another official UN language (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex technical content into engaging and informative media communication materials
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media representatives across the region
  • Conduct regular media monitoring to identify trends and advise on media opportunities
  • Organize and lead media communication training workshops
  • Apply your knowledge of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in your work
