Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care program (CoARC or CAAHEP approved) and have completed at least one semester
• Strong understanding of respiratory therapy principles and procedures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered with a commitment to high-quality care

Responsibilities

• Assist respiratory therapists with various tasks under direct supervision, following established protocols (e.g., patient assessment, data collection, equipment preparation)
• Participate in patient education and provide support to patients and families
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the respiratory department
• Learn about advanced respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures
• May assist with research projects as assigned.
