Qualifications

• Enrolled in a business degree program, such as accounting or finance (major or minor) or general business
• Completed foundational accounting courses.
• Ability to apply accounting principles to analyze financial information
• Strong analytical and technical skills for research and problem-solving
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and pivot tables

Responsibilities

• Participate in various accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cost accounting
• Assist with month-end closing procedures, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Perform inventory and transactional analysis, including analyzing scrap, production variance, and inventory valuation variance
• Support with ad hoc analysis and financial reporting tasks as assigned
• (Possible) Participate in budgeting or forecasting activities.
