Depending on the team, the 2024 summer internships will be located either at the Los Gatos, CA office or the Los Angeles, CA office, subject to prevailing conditions.

Netflix takes careful consideration of multiple compensation factors to determine the top-of-market intern pay. Market indicators are relied upon to determine compensation, while also taking into account the intern’s specific job, skills, experience, and location. As a result, intern compensation may vary based on these factors.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a PhD program, entering the 4th year or later, at an accredited university, and eligible to work as a summer intern in the USA.
• Actively engaged in research related to online experimentation, sequential experimentation, adaptive experimentation, observational causal inference, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R and/or Python.
• Demonstrates a curious nature, self-motivation, and enthusiasm for solving open-ended challenges within the context of Netflix.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred skills and proficiencies:

• • Previous publications in reputable conferences or journals relevant to the field.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like git.
