Qualifications
- Enrolled in a high school or college with a demonstrable interest in food service or hospitality
- Strong work ethic, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of sanitation and food safety procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (or similar) a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation, service, and inventory control
- Ensure cafeteria cleanliness and adherence to safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to students and staff
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development.
- Learn about federal and state regulations governing school meal programs
