Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an actuarial science degree program or a related field with strong quantitative skills (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics)
• Must be in good academic standing (GPA of 2.5 or higher)
• Familiarity with actuarial concepts and principles.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Must complete required Human Resources training by the end of the internship
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data analysis and preparation for actuarial reports
• Learn and apply actuarial principles to rate setting and financial modeling
• Research and analyze insurance compliance regulations
• Contribute to the development and implementation of compliance procedures
• May attend meetings and presentations related to actuarial and compliance matters
