Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an actuarial science degree program or a related field with strong quantitative skills (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics)
- Must be in good academic standing (GPA of 2.5 or higher)
- Familiarity with actuarial concepts and principles.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Must complete required Human Resources training by the end of the internship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data analysis and preparation for actuarial reports
- Learn and apply actuarial principles to rate setting and financial modeling
- Research and analyze insurance compliance regulations
- Contribute to the development and implementation of compliance procedures
- May attend meetings and presentations related to actuarial and compliance matters
