Education & Qualifications Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finances, or related field with four years of relevant professional experience; or,
  • High School diploma with six years of relevant experience.

Work Experiences:

  • Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
  • Experience in SAP is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in training and coordinating teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook.

Languages:

  • Fluent in English (oral and written)

Career Key Responsibilities:

  • Support & Coordinate: Assist Finance Coordinator with US office financial activities, reports, budgets, and project analysis.
  • Process Transactions: Ensure accurate financial data entry in PRISM, adhering to IOM regulations.
  • Manage Accounts: Track and reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and payroll for timely payments.
  • Cash Flow & Funding: Forecast cash flow needs and prepare funding requests for approval.
  • Improve Efficiency: Recommend and implement improvements to departmental workflow and financial practices.
  • Travel & Support: Participate in meetings and trainings, provide financial support to sub-offices, and maintain IOM expertise.
  • Communication & Liaison: Collaborate with internal and external partners on financial activities and reporting.
