Education & Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finances, or related field with four years of relevant professional experience; or,
- High School diploma with six years of relevant experience.
Work Experiences:
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
- Experience in SAP is a distinct advantage.
- Experience in training and coordinating teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook.
Languages:
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
Career Key Responsibilities:
- Support & Coordinate: Assist Finance Coordinator with US office financial activities, reports, budgets, and project analysis.
- Process Transactions: Ensure accurate financial data entry in PRISM, adhering to IOM regulations.
- Manage Accounts: Track and reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and payroll for timely payments.
- Cash Flow & Funding: Forecast cash flow needs and prepare funding requests for approval.
- Improve Efficiency: Recommend and implement improvements to departmental workflow and financial practices.
- Travel & Support: Participate in meetings and trainings, provide financial support to sub-offices, and maintain IOM expertise.
