Summary:
Za’atar NGO is currently offering online language classes and visits to their day center by appointment due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Volunteers can still contribute to their programs by volunteering online, which requires proactive skills and the ability to work on assigned tasks autonomously. Once everything is back to normal, they appreciate the participation of individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds. Volunteers will be required to join them in Athens for two weeks or more. Tasks generally include cleaning, teaching, and interacting with their refugee community. Teaching placements are open to graduates with some experience in informal and community education.
