Research Partners Volunteers- YPDO

Online Research Partners for a camera soccer game at Youth Press and Development Organization

Summary:

YPDO, the Youth Press and Development Organization, is a non-profit organization based in Zambia. Through its sporting initiative called Malalo (Bridges) Sports Foundation (www.malalosport.com) uses sport (football and chess) as a tool for social change and is recognized by the UN office on Sport as one of the initiatives that are bringing change in communities through sport. The sporting project has soccer teams of boys’ and girls ages 10-21 playing in local leagues. Currently, the project is looking for a research partnerships with other communities and organizations to help us source a VEO Camera or Spiideo Camera for online broadcasting of games for the Children.

The YPDO requires the services of volunteers to help in researching these potential partners/communities around the world . The opportunities aims at creating partnerships as well linkages for programs of mutual exchange. The assignment is supposed to be concluded within 4 weeks. The Y.P.D.O shall provide all the required information for the volunteer on the assignment and collaborations shall be done online. Volunteers shall be required to research on these potential partners by giving weekly feeds. The volunteer should have the necessary credentials in the field of sport and partnerships.

The assignment takes place online and Zambia is the assigned country.

Requirements:

  • Research and development ,Community integration as well as virtual partnership creation.
  • Fair level of English is desirable.
