GLF” stands for Global Landscapes Forum known as the largest international Knowledgeable platform dedicated to sustainable and inclusive landscapes. It is functioning as a multi stakeholder forum, it is uniting a diverse array of participants from across the globe to deliberate on and propel landscape approaches for sustainable development. The extensive objective of the GLF is for advocating for a transformative shift towards sustainable development / aligning with the objectives outlined in the Paris Climate Agreement and the post-2020 biodiversity agenda.

Education & Qualifications Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in  international relations.
  • Master’s degree in international and sustainable development.
  • Master’s degree in communication, journalism.
  • Bachelor’s degree in natural science and environmental education.

Work Experiences:

  • Work experience in youth engagement or mobilization, communications, partnerships.
  • Work experience in sustainable development / development cooperation.
  • Work experience in creating original material and content for social media and running social media campaigns.
  • Work experience in online engagement, youth organizations, capacity development or event management.
  • Full-Knowledge of engagement with the Youth in Landscapes Network.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Responsible for supporting the regular coordination between the Youth in Landscapes Steering Committee.
  • Responsible for assisting in ensuring the YIL organizations’ programs, including the Steering Committee organizations and other regional organizations.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing content SEO and growth tactics to increase the visibility of GLF communications.
  • Responsible for supporting with the development of learning and capacity-building programs for youth
