The 16th Workshop on Labour Economics, organized by the IAAEU and the Chair of Personnel Economics at Trier University, invites researchers in the field to participate in a two-day event on April 11-12, 2024. The workshop provides a platform for networking and sharing the latest research findings.

The workshop welcomes theoretical and empirical submissions on various topics, including well-being, pay schemes, labour market institutions, education, health, and household economics. PhD students are especially encouraged to submit their research, with dedicated presentation slots and senior participants as discussants.

The keynote address by Christina Gathmann will focus on “AI and the Labor Market,” and a special session on counterfactual impact evaluation will be organized jointly with the CC-ME of the European Commission. The submission deadline for extended abstracts or full papers is January 14, 2024, with acceptance notifications sent in early February. Accepted papers must be submitted by March 25, 2024.
