Women/Youth Program Intern - Temporary (World Relief Corporation)

Empower yourself while making a real difference! World Relief Corporation is seeking a passionate and dedicated Women/Youth Program Intern to join our team for a temporary position. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our initiatives that empower women and youth in underserved communities. You will gain valuable experience working in the non-profit sector, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop your skills in program support, research, and communication.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (or recent graduate) in a relevant field such as social work, international development, gender studies, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in women’s empowerment and youth development issues.
  • Alignment with WRM core values of serve, drive, care
  • Ability to utilize digital communication tools, such as Zoom, TEAMS, and other platforms
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently towards case-specific, department, and office-wide goals

Responsibilities

  • Assist program staff with research, data collection, and analysis related to women’s and youth’s needs.
  • Support the development and implementation of program activities.
  • Create clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate volunteer schedules for youth program
  • Assist with communication efforts, such as drafting social media posts or newsletters.
  • Maintain program documents and databases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
