Women in Finance and Tech Master Scholarship

The Women in Finance and Tech Scholarship is aimed to inspire talented female candidates to pursue graduate studies and a career in finance or technology.BI Norwegian Business School is committed to the UN Sustainability Goals. In particular, BI aims to support efforts towards achieving gender equality. This scholarship is a means to attract and support outstanding female candidates to pursue careers in fields where there is a gender imbalance.

Documentation Requirements:

All candidates must meet academic progression requirements to maintain their scholarship. Detailed requirements are included in the Scholarship Agreement.

  • Full study progression (30 ECTS) in each semester.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of a “B” on the BI ECTS scale after completion of each academic semester.
  • Candidates who are awarded the Women in Finance and Tech Master Scholarship must be prepared to be “BI Ambassadors”, acting as spokespeople, assisting in recruitment efforts, and promoting a good study environment. Scholarship recipients will be informed about responsibilities during the academic year.

Scholarship benefits:

  • The Women in Finance and Technology Master Scholarship will cover full tuition fees for up to two years if the student maintains the academic progression requirements for scholarship recipients.

Selection criteria:

BI has a generous scholarship program for master’s studies. However, the competition for scholarships is great. Each year, the number of scholarship applications received from master’s applicants is far greater than the number of scholarships available.

Eligibility:

Note: International applicants with citizenship from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland who are not residents of Norway are not eligible for this scholarship.

Application deadline:

Application deadline is March 1.

International and domestic applicants: A complete application for admission, including your scholarship application, must be uploaded to the online application portal. Applications for scholarship are not accepted by email.

Siviløkonom 3rd year students: Scholarship application letters must be emailed to info@bi.no.

Late applications will not be considered.
