There are no fees to volunteer with The Footpath Library.

Main Roles:

  • Book Selection and Packing: Help select and pack books for mobile library deployments.
  • Mobile Library Assistant: Assist with setting up, running, and packing down mobile library services on-site.
  • Event and Fundraising Support: Assist with planning and running fundraising events or other special initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older (16-17 year olds may be considered with parental permission)
  • Passion for books and a desire to help others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and commitment to scheduled shifts
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (for mobile library assistant role)

Responsibilities:
