This role focuses on assisting with various tasks within the op shop, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers and contributing to fundraising efforts for disadvantaged children.

Requirements:

  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enjoy sorting through donations and creating an inviting shop atmosphere.
  • Commitment to a regular Saturday shift (9.30am-3.30pm).

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort, and price donated clothing, toys, books, and household items.
  • Assist customers with finding items and provide excellent customer service.

  • Operate the cash register and process customer payments (training provided).
