Summary:

The Redemptoris Missio Foundation is seeking compassionate Malaysians who are willing to lend their time and expertise to create a better world. Volunteers can contribute to the cause in various ways, including office-based/administration, home-based, and events. The foundation aims to help communities take ownership of their development and become self-sustainable. Volunteers will listen to the unique challenges and needs of the children, their families, the community, and faith leaders. They will work with the community to develop a long-term action plan that will address the root causes of their challenges. Volunteers will train and empower the local community and support them to make changes that will last long into the future. They will address barriers to education and improve the quality of children’s learning.

• Assist communities in taking charge of their growth and becoming self-sufficient.
• Pay attention to the special needs and obstacles that the kids, their families, the community, and religious leaders are facing.
• Create a long-term action plan in collaboration with the community that will deal with the underlying causes of their problems.
• The local community should be empowered, trained, and given assistance to effect long-lasting change.
• Eliminate obstacles to learning and raise the standard of education for kids.
