Summary:
The assignment is for supporting digital gender equality initiatives for refugees and is based in Switzerland. Additionally, the assignment aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 5, which focuses on gender equality. Moreover, the volunteer is required to work 16-20 hours per week, and the assignment duration is 12 weeks. During the 12-week duration, the online volunteer will actively contribute to UNHCR’s efforts in promoting digital gender equality for forcibly displaced women and girls. The assigned tasks encompass mapping existing digital gender inclusion initiatives in the humanitarian sector, creating a PowerPoint presentation on successful case studies and best practices in bridging the digital gender divide, developing a stakeholder engagement plan, supporting the development of strategies and action plans for gender-responsive digital inclusion, and writing a blog post on an emerging theme in the digital gender inclusion work.
