USAID Supervisory Project Management Specialist

Supervisory Project Management Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of critical development programs. You will lead a team of project management professionals, ensuring effective delivery of USAID’s mission to advance sustainable development and humanitarian assistance in partner countries.

Main Responsibilities as USAID Supervisory Project Management Specialist :

  • Providing strategic direction and oversight for a portfolio of development programs, ensuring alignment with USAID’s goals and objectives.
  • Leading, supervise, and mentor a team of project management staff, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems to track program progress and impact.
  • Overseeing budget management, procurement processes, and compliance with USAID regulations and policies.
  • Building and maintain partnerships with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and private sector stakeholders.
  • Representing USAID in high-level meetings, workshops, and events.

Qualifications and Skills as USAID Supervisory Project Management Specialist :

  • Degree in international development, public administration, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Experience in managing complex development projects in areas such as health, education, governance, economic growth, or humanitarian assistance.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills with a track record of managing diverse teams.
  • Strong financial management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Familiarity with USAID policies, procedures, and programming is highly desirable.
