ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about cultural diversity and community engagement? Kaunas Artists’ House (Kauno menininkų namai) is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help organize and prepare for our upcoming summer events! About Kaunas Artists’ House: Dedicated to presenting new cultural formats, connecting communities, and promoting openness through culture, Kaunas Artists’ House is a vibrant hub for artistic expression. Throughout the summer and especially at the end of May, Kaunas Artists’ House has a few big events, such as the Courtyard Festival and Street Music Day, which are organized every year. Getting to help in preparing and organizing these events would not only be a huge help but also an invaluable experience for a volunteer! Join us in fostering creativity and dialogue through artist residencies, education programs, and community events.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

On-arrival training; monthly meetings with your mentor; monthly volunteers’ meetings.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

Volunteers join the activities that are being carried out in KAH, depending on their abilities and interests. These activities range from practical preparation for events to co-curating projects. Some of the tasks include copying material for workshops, organizing supplies, preparing and decorating spaces, greeting guests who come to events, representing KAH to foreign guests (live and online), working together with local volunteers, and helping coordinate events organized by partner organizations.
