Summary:

The Andrew Grant PG Scholarships are available to applicants for postgraduate (PG) programs in five schools within ECA: School of Art, School of Design, ESALA (Architecture and Landscape Architecture), History of Art, and the Reid School of Music. These scholarships honor Andrew Grant, an alumnus of the University of Edinburgh, who generously contributed to the construction of ECA. Ten scholarships, each worth £10,500, will be awarded for one academic year. The funds will be automatically deducted from tuition fees, with any remaining amount allocated toward living costs. Scholarship recipients are expected to actively engage with the postgraduate community and present their work during the award period.

Application Requirements:

    • New applicants for postgraduate taught Masters or Masters by Research degree programs commencing in September 2024 are eligible.
    • Applicants should have the equivalent of a UK first-class or 2:1 Honors degree at the undergraduate level.
    • Both full-time and part-time students, as well as those pursuing online distance learning programs, can apply.
    • Master of Architecture (MArch) and MPhil applicants are not eligible.
