Education & Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management / Security Risk Management.Security and Safety certification.
- Have a University degree in political science / social sciences and international relations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Security and Safety certification.
Work Experiences:
- Work Experience in having established networks with the Host Government or other security actors from previous employment.
- Work Experience supports the Representative or Head of Office in managing staff safety and security of the Organization.
- Have the ability to work under pressure to achieve multiple deadlines.
- Full knowledge of understanding of NGOs’ missions and goals.
- Full-Knowledge in public relations.
Languages:
- Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
- Having a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) both oral and written.
Key Responsibilities Career:
- Responsible for advising and supporting the Representative or Head of Office in managing staff safety and security of UNHCR.
- Responsible for evaluating existing security measures to determine their appropriateness and identify areas needing improvement.
- Responsible for advising on and assisting in ensuring compliance with standards established through the Security Risk Management process.
- Responsible for assisting and developing plans for evacuation/relocation medical evacuation and other security contingencies.
