Education & Qualifications Requirements:

Education:

• Have University degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, chemistry.
• Have master degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering.
• Skilled in Data Analysis.

Work Experiences:

• Have experience in environmental public policy in Comoros.
• Have an Excellent skill in writing and speaking communication skills, and the capacity to establish productive relationships with stakeholders.
• Have Knowledge of the national context of Comoros and experience in environmental public policy in Comoros.
• Must have Experience in multi-stakeholder engagement and working with government authorities in Africa.
• Full Knowledge in modelling of GHG and air pollution mitigation measures with different software including LEAP IBC.
• Have Experience in NDC and national communications development and revision.
• Good Knowledge of GHG dynamics, short-lived climate pollutants, climate change and air pollution issues in Comoros.

Languages:

• Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
• Have a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities Career:

• Resposible Expert will monitor and analysis climate projects.
• Responsible for Consult regularly with the Member States in the region, on issues relevant to Montreal Protocol in the framework of UNEP’s Implementing Agency mandate.
• Must advise and work with the qualified team to analyze, collect climate projects.
• Skilled in Developing analytical and diagnostic maps, drawings, graphics and related reports.
• Skilled in Organizing and preparing documentation for meetings and conferences and finalize and transmit meeting reports
• Responsible Communicating with the Ministers of Environment of the Francophone Africa region on matters.
• Developing and organize participatory, multi-stakeholder processes.
• Must Providing technical recommendations to Environment documents and publications.
