Understanding Mechanisms and Outcomes of Trained Immunity Grant

Summary:
This grant, funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), supports research on the fundamental mechanisms and outcomes of trained immunity, also known as innate immune memory. It excludes proposals involving clinical trials. The goal is to improve understanding of this emerging field and its potential implications for various aspects of immune function, including:

  • Allergic diseases, autoimmune disorders, and organ/tissue/cell transplant rejection
