Education & Qualifications Requirements:

Education:

  • Have a University degree in sustainable development Science.
  • Master’s degree in management administration.
  • Have a University degree in economics and social science.
  • Master’s degree in Sustainable development and international public policies.

Work Experiences:

  • Skilled experience in a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible in policy-oriented research, and program management.
  • Full experience in supporting large intergovernmental processes on sustainable development.
  • Professional Experience in providing substantive leadership in the planning/development/drafting and finalizing of publications and reports of a global scope on sustainable development issues.
  • Full Experience in policy formulation and policy advisory work.
  • Have experience in working with United Nations systems agencies that are structured on sustainable development.

Languages:

  • Fluency in the English language is Required (both oral and written).
  • Having a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Responsible for Leading the development/ implementation and evaluation of assigned programs on sustainable development issues.
  • Full skills in Providing direct substantive support to consultative and intergovernmental meetings.
  • Responsible for Management outreach activities, and designs of training workshops and seminars.
  • The Responsible for Preparing speeches for senior staff and making presentations on sustainable development issues.
  • Responsible for Ensuring an effective supervision and development of staff.
  • Have the skill to represent the Branch at international/regional or national meetings on sustainable development issues.
