Chevening Scholarship Application Timeline

Key Dates:

  • Applications Open: August 6, 2024
  • Applications Close: November 5, 2024
  • Interviews: February 26 – April 25, 2025
  • Results: June 2025 onward
  • Offer Deadline: July 11, 2025
  • Studies Begin: September/October 2025

Process Overview:

  1. Application Submission: Apply online through your country/territory’s page.
  2. Eligibility Check: Applications are reviewed for eligibility.
  3. Reading Committee Assessment: Independent committees assess eligible applications.
  4. Shortlisting: Embassies/high commissions select candidates for interviews.
  5. Interviews: Shortlisted candidates are interviewed at British embassies/high commissions.
  6. Results: Successful candidates are notified.
  7. University Offers: Candidates must obtain at least one unconditional UK university offer.
  8. Studies: Chevening Scholars begin their studies in the UK.
