UCL Access Opportunity Scholarships in UK, 2024

Summary:

The scholarship aims to help students who cannot access student loans due to their immigration status to pursue higher education at UCL. Two scholarships are available for the 2024/25 intake, covering full tuition fees and a living allowance of £12,000 per year.

Application Requirements:

    • Candidates must have an offer of admission to UCL for a full-time undergraduate degree.
    • Candidates must be asylum seekers, children of asylum seekers, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, or forced migrants who have a temporary form of leave in the UK as a result of an asylum or human rights application.
    • Candidates must not be eligible for student finance (tuition fee or maintenance loan) because of their immigration status.

    • The scholarship provides full funding for the duration of the programme at UCL, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
    • The scholarship can be used to cover any costs related to studying at UCL, such as living expenses, course materials, or travel costs.
