Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in a Mechanical or Mechatronics program
- GPA 3.0 minimum
- Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, Python preferred).
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior developers in designing, coding, and testing new features for the Solution software platform.
- Support design, engineering, and validation of new automated and manual assembly solutions and components in SolidWorks
- Gain exposure to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to implementation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high coding standards.
- Develop and execute test plans on customer parts, applying tightening, robot, vision, and screw feeding products (with training)
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies (as assigned).
