This scholarship is for students who want to pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture or Horticulture. It is funded by Massey University and is open to students of any nationality. The scholarship covers part of the tuition fees and varies depending on the interest earned on the capital. The application deadline is 25 Feb 2024.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate course in agriculture or horticulture
• be able to take part in an overseas exchange or internship as part of your course
• provide a personal statement

Scholarship value

The scholarship is awarded for one academic year and the amount is determined annually based on the interest earned on the capital. The scholarship is available every year as long as there are sufficient funds.

Selection process

The scholarship is based on academic merit and acceptance into an overseas exchange or internship program. The University Scholarships Committee selects the recipient based on the recommendation of the Applied Academic Programmes Scholarships Committee, which includes Associate Professor Alex Chu or his nominee.
