Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of customs procedures and import/export documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, certificates of origin).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist trade analysts with processing international transactions through trade compliance software (e.g., SAP GTS).
• Conduct research to classify products under export control regulations.
• Support with license applications and end-user certifications for controlled exports.
• Assist with customs tariff classification for imported goods.
• Participate in the preparation of import/export documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Work with internal and external partners (e.g., customs brokers) to resolve trade-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in international trade regulations and procedures.
