The World Cinema Fund (WCF) Africa supports film projects from sub-Saharan Africa. Eligibility:
The applicants must be from sub-Saharan Africa or have a co-producer from sub-Saharan Africa. The projects must have a link to the region in terms of content or artistic involvement. The projects must be feature-length films (fiction or documentary) with a minimum length of 70 minutes. The projects must have a realistic chance of being completed by October 2024.
Benefits:
The maximum funding amount is 80,000 euros per project. The funding is intended for production and post-production costs. The funding is paid out in several instalments according to a payment plan. The funding is subject to the condition of a profit participation and a share of the copyright.
