The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2024-2025 Penn Kemble Forum on Democracy! Join a diverse group of passionate young professionals for a year of learning and engagement.
About the Program:
The Penn Kemble Forum fosters bipartisan conversation and collaboration among the next generation of foreign policy leaders. Through a series of intimate monthly dinners, fellows engage with renowned experts, government officials (past and present), and democracy practitioners.
What You’ll Gain:
- Direct Interaction with Leading Figures: Discuss critical issues with the likes of Dr. Francis Fukuyama and Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad.
- Network with Future Leaders: Build lasting connections with peers from government, NGOs, media, and the private sector.

Eligibility:
- Based in the Washington, D.C. metro area
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience (beyond internships and academic studies)
- Available to attend a mandatory retreat on September 21st, 2024
- Committed to attending most monthly evening discussions (usually Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays)
