Igorot Global Organization Scholarship for Curtin University Students 2024

Australia receives many students wishing to study in Australian universities. Be one of the first to apply for an Igorot Global Organization is dedicated to providing scholarships to students with outstanding achievements who face economic challenges but are committed to pursuing a university degree.

The IGO Scholarship aims to support Curtin University students within the WA School of Mines (WASM) experiencing financial hardship while attending studies at the Kalgoorlie Campus. Preference will be given to those students who have relocated from remote/regional areas across Australia.

Required documents:

  • A fresh graduate from a high school in the Cordilleras.
  • Among the top ten students in the graduating class.
  • An Igorot by birth, by affinity, or by self-identification emanating from long and permanent.
    residence in the Cordilleras.
  • Must be of good moral character.
  • Family is economically constrained and has great difficulties in supporting the college.
    education of the candidate.
  • Personally committed to completing a college degree in a timely and focused fashion.
  • Preferably with no other scholarship grant (either private or government), especially one that
    covers full tuition and allowances.
  • Will enroll in an HEI located in CAR, preferably state universities and colleges; and,
  • Must pass the entrance examination, if any, of the school where s/he intends to enroll.

Eligible students at IGO Scholarship:

  • Australian Citizen
  • Australian Permanent Resident
  • Preference will be given to those students who have relocated from remote/regional areas across Australia.

Eligible Criteria:

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the IGO Scholarship:

  • Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident
  • Enrolled a minimum of 25 credits in an undergraduate course at the WA School of Mines Kalgoorlie campus in semester 1, 2024.
  • A minimum course weighted average (CWA) of 60
  • From a low socio-economic background and/or experiencing financial hardship
  • Not in receipt of any other scholarships that is from the same funding source and/or for the same purpose.
