The 2024-2025 LEAD Fellowship

Harvard LEAD Fellowship for Promoting Women in Global Health 2024

Summary:

Applications are now being accepted for the 2024–2025 LEAD Fellowship, a one-year program that aims to develop the leadership abilities of people from low- and middle-income nations. Supporting the ongoing growth of women leaders in global health is the aim of this program, which is jointly offered by the Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) and the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

The 12-month virtual curriculum for the 2024–2025 LEAD Fellowship program will be complemented by a 4-week in-person experience in the spring of 2025. During their fellowship year, fellows will participate in networking, executive education courses, speaking engagements, leadership workshops, one-on-one coaching, and mentoring.

Harvard LED Fellows are free to create their own unique programs for leadership development. They have access to top-notch instructors and senior mentors who provide training and direction in line with the individual interests and objectives of the fellows. Along with participating in cohort-specific leadership development programs, LEAD fellows have access to speaking, networking, and independent project work opportunities. Fellows leave the program each year having established a network of mentors and peers throughout Harvard University. Specifically, the fellowship program intends to provide global health professionals with time for introspection, networking, and exploration of new areas.
