UNRWA stands for United Nations Relief and Works Agency, is a part of United Nations agencies that founded 1949. UNRWA primary mandate is to provide humanitarian assistance and essential services, including education, health care, and social services, to refugees.

UNRWA is operating in five areas of operation: Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip. The agency plays a crucial role in supporting the basic needs of Palestinian refugees and contributes to their socio-economic development. UNRWA is working in funded primarily through voluntary contributions from the international community. This global organization faces ongoing challenges due to political tensions in the region and the protracted nature of the Palestinian refugee situation.

Education & Qualifications Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project management.
• University degree in public relations.

Work Experiences:

• Work Experience in collaborating with all project owners to write the Digital Transformation.
• Work Experience in IT Business Administration, Inventory and Supply Management.
• Experience in United Nations public procurement rules and regulations.
• Experience in writing news articles for the department’s website to showcase its digital transformation
• Full-Knowledge of understanding of NGO missions and goals.
• Knowledge in public relations.

Languages:

• Fluency in the English language is Required (both oral and written).
• Know another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities Career:

• Responsible for collaborating with all project owners to write the Digital Transformation.
• Responsible for reviewing and updating all regulatory documents of the department.
• Responsible for supporting the CIO in his work on the Digital Impact strategy development and implementation.
• Responsible for contributing to the UI/UX design and testing activities for software development.
• Responsible for assisting in the development of proposals for new digital transformation projects and initiatives.
