Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program in a science-related field (biology, chemistry, etc.)
• Strong interest in the life sciences and a desire to learn laboratory techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to follow protocols and procedures meticulously
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
• Basic computer literacy (proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite a plus)

Responsibilities:

• Assist laboratory personnel with various tasks related to sample preparation, analysis, and testing (specific duties may vary by department placement).
• Gain exposure to a variety of bioanalytical techniques and instrumentation (common techniques may include ELISA, HPLC, etc.).
• Participate in data collection, recording, and analysis, ensuring data integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment according to safety protocols.
• May assist with preparing reports and presentations (as assigned).
